I am swamped right now with by-laws, rules, regulations, constitution, agreements, contracts, etc- and I am wondering why do we need so much regulations to begin with? (NON Kyokushin related one's as well!)
Someone once said, "Why is it so hard to trust someone and I say why is it so hard to keep a promise?" I think I found this on Twitter, but ain't it true?
My passion is reading scriptures and yogic texts because that is also a form of guideline to me. Like the Dojo Kun from Sosai, it has the spirit of the writer in those sentences. But why the continual enforcement generally? Are we so inept at controlling our seven deadly sins that we need police, detectives, surveillance camera etc...
Then again, we are all here to burn our karmic residue hopefully in this lifetime--- perhaps we are all in need to be regulated! (The great news is, once we see it- we can handle it.... no?)
