A Very Happy New Year!

"Hard times arouse the instinctive desire for authenticity." Coco Chanel

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the third day of 2013!

I am so grateful for all the warm wishes via email etc, I promise I will be more social media savvy this year. Lol.

My new year resolutions are....

1) choosing my scheduling wisely.

I am often bombarding myself with so much work that I lose my sense of self. I had to cling to yoga practice so I get through the day!

So this year I am changing that and only putting two things to do a day. (Aside from work that is!)

2) Doing something consciously nice for "Husband Suzuki".

Because I make decisions often on my own account, I foolishly oversee how much support I get from him. He is the pillar of  so many aspects that makes my life, feasible! I am going to force myself more to be present during training so I can appreciate his karate too.

3) Travel but not for work.

I used to travel a lot more for my charity. When I was studying I was blessed to take part in really important causes both in India and in the NY. I took our son with one of these expedition.

4) Leaving Kyokushin in trusted, supportive hands.

I feel there are many people (dojo's) that are competent working together.
They just need an opportunity to act as one, servicing for the higher purpose.

5) Being "pure" with something rather than making something pure.

I am teaching myself the difficult distinction between the two....!

What are your new year resolutions?
