SIght Saver.

I think my eyes are getting dim as I celebrate more of my birth day.... ^^;

Just some tips to help with your eyesight. Gradual deterioration (of the eye sight)  is I guess part of living but the good news is it is preventable and in some cases treatable.

1) Have regular eye examination.
2) Watch your weight.
3) Wear sunglasses.
4) Stop SMOKING~!
5) Good diet for the eyes.

A breakdown on what I wrote above...


1) My sister who had blurred vision in her teens found out she had a rare retinal disorder- which she was able to prevent the progression to the max with effective treatment.

2) Being over weigh increases the risk of glaucoma and Age related macular degeneration (AMD). Over weight is related to diabetes as well- which can lead to diabetic retinopathy.

3)The UV rays are killer to your eyes. It damages your eyes so badly some studies have shown it increases the risk of cataracts and AMD.

4) Not only bad for lungs, mouth etc... smokers are likely to lose their sight twice as much more than non-smoker.

Mini- fasts can help your vision tremendously. Minerals such as zinc and selenium  found in nuts and seeds are helpful too!
